VinFast unveils battery subscription prices for all models, offering Indonesian customers savings of up to IDR 113 million
JAKARTA, INDONESIA - 7 August 2025 - VinFast is officially announcing a new, highly attractive battery subscription pricing strategy for the Indonesian market. The policy will apply to the brand's entire vehicle lineup, from the VF 3 and VF 5 to the VF e34, VF 6, and VF 7.
With the competitive battery subscription program, customers can now own a VinFast vehicle for an initial payment of just IDR 156 million, plus a monthly subscription fee starting from IDR 253,000. This, combined with other robust sales and after-sales policies, underscores VinFast's "customer-centric" commitment, maximizing benefits for Indonesian consumers and effectively eliminating concerns about depreciation costs during the transition to electric vehicles.
VF 3 (mini-SUV): With a special on-the-road price of IDR 156 million for the battery subscription option, customers save IDR 74.13 million compared to the full-price model. The monthly battery subscription fee is just IDR 253,000.
VF 5 Eco (A-segment): The battery subscription on-the-road price is IDR 232 million, offering a saving of up to IDR 91.17 million. The monthly subscription is IDR 468,000.
VF e34 (C-segment): Customers can acquire this model for IDR 299 million with the battery subscription, saving IDR 112.86 million - the highest saving across the lineup. The monthly fee is IDR 593,000.
VF 6 (Eco & Plus): Both versions share a monthly subscription fee of IDR 650,000. The on-the-road prices are IDR 335 million (Eco) and IDR 394 million (Plus), saving customers IDR 49.995 million and IDR 45.6 million, respectively.
VF 7 (Eco & Plus AWD): The battery subscription on-the-road prices are IDR 449 million (Eco) and IDR 539 million (Plus AWD), representing savings of IDR 50 million and IDR 60 million. Monthly subscription fees are IDR 905,000 (Eco) and IDR 1,031,000 (Plus AWD).
In a pioneering move for the Indonesian market, VinFast's battery subscription policy is positioned as a "lifetime battery warranty." The strategy, which is designed to provide customers with peace of mind and reduce the initial cost of ownership, has been met with significant enthusiasm. In response, the Company is not only extending the policy to its latest models - the VF 3, VF 6, and VF 7 - but also enhancing the terms and pricing for the VF 5 and VF e34. All existing customers who have chosen the battery subscription option will also benefit from the new monthly fees, effective immediately.
VinFast's battery subscription program is not only a flexible financial tool designed to lower the initial cost of ownership and optimize customer cash flow, but also a long-term commitment to its consumers. Under this policy, VinFast assumes full responsibility for the battery's performance, including complimentary maintenance, repairs, and replacement if its charging capacity ever drops below 70%. This effectively eliminates consumer concerns about battery degradation and the long-term depreciation costs associated with electric vehicles, ensuring peace of mind.
The new battery subscription policy is a perfect complement to VinFast's comprehensive sales and after-sales programs in Indonesia. These include free charging at V-GREEN stations, cash and accessory bonuses, favorable loan interest rates, and a guaranteed resale value of up to 90% after six months and 70% after three years.
Mr. Kariyanto Hardjosoemarto, CEO of VinFast Indonesia, shared: "Our 'customer-centric' philosophy drives us to continually research and adapt our policies to maximize the benefits for Indonesian consumers throughout their ownership journey. As a pioneer of the battery subscription model in this market, we have been very encouraged by the positive reception. We are now further refining this policy, from initial vehicle prices to monthly subscription terms, to not only provide a flexible financial solution but also to reaffirm our long-term commitment to our customers in this green transition."
In just over a year since entering Indonesia, VinFast has rapidly introduced a diverse range of vehicles, from the VF 3, VF 5, and VF e34 to the VF 6 and most recently the VF 7, all supported by compelling sales and after-sales programs. The Company continues to expand its network of dealerships, service centers, and banking partners to facilitate a seamless transition to electric mobility for all Indonesian consumers.
